I talk to my kids for the first time, and I just realized that I left Anny on both my english and ecology class rosters, and that I'll probably won't delete her.
Last Saturday, one of the teachers, Richard Gordon, passed away too. Some kind of cardiac arrest.
It's a strange beginning to the semester.

hey denis. i just wanted to let you know how sorry i am for your losses. i wish there was something i could say that could help put it into perspective, but unfortunately, i can't. some things in life are just unfair and completely senseless. my thoughts are with you and your coworkers and students.
